St. Raymond Elementary School students in UPK 3 through 2nd Grade radically aged overnight when they dressed as centernarians to celebrate 100 Days of School on Wednesday, February 15. Wearing caps, mustaches and gray wigs (some with curlers in their hair!); using canes; and wearing clothing favored by some great grandparents, boys and girls took on the appearance of much, much older people. St. Raymond's marching band led the students in a parade throughout the building that ended in the gym. Older students and staff on every floor cheered for them. News 12 The Bronx's Elly Morillo -- an alumna of St. Raymond Elementary School and St. Raymond Academy for Girls -- visited our school that day. Click here to see the news clip. Thank you to our students who participated and to Elly Morillo and News 12 The Bronx! Below are photos taken by our Italian teacher, Mrs. Josephine Casale.
