MAY CROWNING

The sky was blue and the sun was shining as our pastor Fr. Cruz led us in prayer at the annual May Crowning of Our Blessed Mother on Tuesday, May 16, in the plaza outside of St. Raymond Church.  Our music director and choirmaster Patrick Connolly led us in song. Kindergarten through Grade 5 participated, and our students who made their First Communion wore their Communion dresses and suits. Second grader Laura Rodriguez, one of the St. Raymond students who made their First Communion on May 6, crowned the statue of Mary.    (Photos by Silvio Pacifico, www.silviopacifico.com.)
